Our Off-Season winter 2004/5
2005 Begins
Despite getting married in June 2003, the first chance for a honeymoon didn't arise until the very end of January 2005! Cornwall was the chosen place and The Water Tower in Trellisick Gardens ( owned by the National trust ) was the perfect setting. The rooms were approx 12ft in diameter ( very cosy ) and there were a total of 50 stairs from top to bottom!! During the week away, Helen also had her 35th Birthday........So lots of celebrating to be done.

Once again the camera came out ( along with the tripod and a selection of lenses ) but they think all the standing round in the freezing temperatures paid off, with these night time shots of some of the churches, and daytime landscapes.
The weather was dry all week, and the happy couple made the most of the beautiful countryside by doing plenty of rambling and taking lots of photo's. The total photo count from the week was a whopping 300. Helen saw her "twitching" side emerge, and spent hours sitting very still in order to get photo's like the one below.
Helen at the ruins of "The Great Flat Lode" mining complex. And on her Birthday too ( Dean .... are you sure she is a girl ???????? )

Prague
A belated 60th Birthday celebration for Dean's dad, meant a long weekend in Prague at the beginning of March. Temperatures varied from -5 in the day, falling to -10 in the evening, with snow falling most of the time !!!! This didn't stop the Twisted couple for one minute. They managed to fit in more then most into their days out, with visits to The Observatory, The Castle, The Observation Tower, The National Technical Museum and of course, Charles Bridge.
Helen became a bit of a "twitcher" .....but he is a very cute Robin.

A great weekend was had by all, and Helen only had 253 photo's to sort out on her return !
So, after all this you may be wondering where they had the time to rebuild the car for the coming season... well, they didn't. So Hell's Belle will be running in the same spec for the start of the season, but some changes are planned for later in the year so stay tuned.
