Sunday Morning

After a scary night with high winds and rain we emerged to a slightly less windy but still pretty wet day. The track was just about dry at around 11:30 but another downpour resulted in the event being officially rained off.

Sunday morning and we just about still had a tent. Grey skies stayed all day.

Oooo! what a smart team.

Sunday Afternoon

Even though the event was rained off, the WIld Bunch decided to use Saturday's times to award the trophies usually based on Sunday's times. As Helen had a great reaction time on Saturday she came away with a shiny trophy.

Despite it being a little chilly on Saturday the team wasn't allowed coats (orders from the boss), so they could show off their team sweatshirts. This paid off with the team receiving the "Best Appearing Team" trophy on Sunday.

Overall, a great weekend was had by all, we met yet more "Wild Bunchers" and look forward to the next round.

In the Wild Bunch Sereis and Real Steel series points standing we are now joint first! ........ (with 11 other teams, all having 1 point for attending!)

Would you look at that... first Wild Bunch meeting and no racing, but we still got our first trophies.
